Just added a blue actinic light to the tank yesterday, got it all working and set to come on at the right times but it does seem a little bit bright. :/

I am racking my brain to think of something to put in front of it to dim it down a little bit but can't seem to think. Any ideas???

:-( :-(

Look carefully at your power adapter - very often you can reduce the voltage running through these kinds of systems which will have the effect of dimming the light.

If you can get some, a coloured gel or coloured transparent sheet should mask the light a bit. Even if you print a darkish colour onto a clear acetate, that should work.
