Tropical Marine Sand Any Good?

I bought some today

I;m setting a fish only live rock small set up for clown fish

The LFS only had this stuff and I bought it but then I have thought it was better to check here before I put it in

I;ve heard aragonite sand mentioned on here whats the difference with that and what I have bought?

well I need to ask you bout that Seffie. Once my Koralia 1 comes do I get my ready mixed water and then buy my live rock as soon as possible? My plan is to buy some off aquarist ads from someone breaking a tank down? I appreciate that once the live rock is in I leave it about 2-3 weeks and test water for ammonia etc?

Yep, just get it up to temp and give it 24 hours to oxygenate and then away you go.....

I appreciate that once the live rock is in I leave it about 2-3 weeks and test water for ammonia etc?

Nah, it is all according how long the rock is out of the water and if it is fully cured - take yourself a container along and ask for some of the water, so that it covers the rock - hopefully that way you will have very little die off I would start testing after 48 hrs
