I have an Econoline70 100L tropical tank.
I'm still using the light that came with it, which I think is a 24W 22inch aquael bulb. As the whole set up was cheap, I expect the quality of the bulb is probably quite low.
To be fair, my live plants look very green and grow well. However, I think the whole tank has a yellowish hue at night and the fish colours don't seem as deep as when natural day light falls on them.
As its all been set up 8 months now, I was thinking of changing the bulb to something which might bring out the fish colours better. Can anyone recommend a T5 bulb available in the UK which will subtly enhance the fish colours more?
