Any ideas would be great a natural look if possible
Any ideas would be great a natural look if possible
It already looks pretty natural. I like the stones. I would remove the arch and the artificial bamboo tube on the left and replace these with a few pieces of mopani wood in interesting shapes, creating a natural arch and caves for the bristlenoses
I'd replace the background with plain black, or paint it black.
I'd hide the heater on the side of the tank and put a taller plant in front of it. The betta in particular will appreciate more plant cover. Try slower growing ones tied onto rocks or wood - anubias and java fern.
what plants would you suggest for this tank?I liked how you had the stones before it looked much more natural. Def change the background to a plain black or blue (I prefer black) add more plants.

I'm no expert on plants, in fact I know very very little. Plants I generally use and have success with are amazon sword, crypts and Java fern. Java fern attached to some wood looks really good.
