tropical fish now

I have had tropical fish for 10years and I am thinking of going to change to Marine.
Could anyone give me any advice what are the problems with Marine.
I always thought Marine were very difficult to keep but the local aquarium shop said they are not. I know Marine are quite expensvie fish to buy.
What would be the main changes to my tank be.
Can anyone help with advice.

I'm no marine expert but your basic kit would include a protein skimer aswell and maybe a sump for bigger tanks..??

i think you would also need things like living rocks.

You'd also need a powerhead for water movement. Check in the Marine & Reef section of these forums - there are some great articles pinned to the top

Also post as much info on your current setup, tnk size, equipment, etc. as this will help a lot
