Tropical fish gone wild in Los Angeles.

I saw a vid of Fern Dell in Griffith park in Los Angeles and was surprised to see in the shady creek,Platys. Not the plain black one either,they were colorful green/yellows with long dorsal fins. I know Convicts are wild down south inland,but I wonder what else in the city area is living in ponds or creeks?
Just curious.
