Hello, my name is Paul.
I'm aware these sort of posts are dissuaded on this forum but I am desperately seeking new and viable homes for my fish as I do not want to take them to a fish shop as it doesn't seem like a nice thing to do to fish who have been out of that erratic environment for so long.
This is total adoption, no fees, collection only though as I ride a motorbike only. I live in London in the Croydon area near Sutton, Norwood, Coulsdon etc. These fish will only go to homes that are viable and meet their requirements which are not that strict. Only the fish in the images are for sale, the plants are effected by beard algae and you don't want that! I've been battling it for ages and have lost the will.
The fish themselves, there are 8 Beacons and about 8-9 tetras. The tetras are a couple of Cardinals both over 3 years old and some neons about a year old. The beacons some are over a year others are about 9 months. I also have some dwarf chain loaches. 4 in total. Two are quite large, about a inch and a half. They're docile in my aquarium and dont even harass each other though this has been known.
I have a apple snail that is over a year old and is quite big. Doesn't move about as much as he used to and sometimes looks like it's dead for a couple of hours then goes off looking for food. The apple snail doesn't eat plants, only algae and rotting leaves so a real plant aquarium is best. Keep only 1 of or they'll spawn. Apple snails are the few snails that are single sex.
Lastly I have Red Tail Shark, this one is the one I'm really worried about housing as he is a very sensitive fish. He hates other terrotory fish, likes to be top fish in the tank. He does once a day boss the other fish about for about 20 mins but doesn't terrorise any of them. His beautiful to look at when out but does spend most of his time hiding somewhere. Do not keep with any other red tails or ruby sharks as he will terrorise them all to death! but is well behaved with any other fish. Hopefully this fish's quirks will give it some charm and appeal.
Please only enquire if you're serious. These fish need good homes and I'd rather they go to someone who is an experienced aquarist. Sorry if your new aquarist but I want to the fish safety to be secure. If you can confirm your tank is viable I'll be happy to handover.
Thankyou in advance.
