Triops Longicaudatus Shrimp

I've kept them on and off for some time...what do you want to know?

anything really. here are some questions that come to mind:

are they good in community tanks?
what do they eat?
do they clean tanks a bit like most other shrimp?
any specific water conditions they should be in? (temperature, ph, etc.)
do they require lots of hiding spots?

if there's a website anyone can direct me to that would be great as well! :)

thanks!

are they good in community tanks?
Probably not. Mine always seem to be on attack mode 24/7, so sleeping/resting inhabitants could be at risk.

what do they eat?
They're omnivores, so they should eat mostly anything.

do they clean tanks a bit like most other shrimp?
Yes, a bit.

any specific water conditions they should be in? (temperature, ph, etc.)
They're often hatched in spring or distilled water at room temperature, so I think temperature in the low-to-mid 70's and PH of 7 would work.

do they require lots of hiding spots?
Not really, since they're always on the move, but having some could help obstruct them from one another and prevent cannibalism.
