Ok i need to cut down my colt coral, can you simply cut it off with a sharp knife, then use some epoxy to create a frag??

All advice is welcome.

Cheers

Well, you could do what I did and slice it madly with a rusty razor blade, then almost cut yourself when finished with the coral. This method works best when in a panicked state upon discovering that the coral is "rotting" away at the base of the trunk. After you are finished fragging, you must then allow an overgrown hermit crab to messily devour it while you are on a camping trip.

Or I guess you could just use a sharp pair of scissors and cut the trunk neatly. :|

Oh lol ok, well that was the other option, just put it this way each out of the 3 frags i have on one bit are about 10-12 inches big.....

What would happen to my own frag thats now blunt?

I dought the Epoxy putty will work. The frag will likely produce a copious amount of slime, and will thus not adhere to the epoxy. I think your far better off using some fishing line to tie the fragment to a piece of LR Rubble, using the tooth pic method, or wrap it and a piece of LR rubble in onion bag netting.
