well the little flirts are at it again  ,they're so amusing to watch the way they dance around, nudging, scooting all over the tank,i have spotted 3 eggs so far, managed to save them has the platys were taking great interest in them!

Left them to it for now...

 Thanks Amy :)

I will put the tank lights back on later to see what they're up too :)

Well i've saved 10 eggs :good: seems to be the normal pattern for these sweeties

Me too

I check me profile to see whats happening has i update that

Another batch in hand (well in tank) of 12 eggs today...

The others haven't had time to hatch yet

Aw bet you are the proud mum  Are you going to keep all these babies out of interest? As with my pygmies sure there are a few good homes for them to go to if necessary but not sure what i would do with all those little sproglets!

Thanks amy :)
I probably will sell them if they reach adulthood,my 10 eggs finally hatched last night, and i have the 12 eggs due in a few days.unfortunately i've lost a few of the smaller fry but the rest appear ok at the moment :)

Aw sorry to hear about the losses  Im sure the others will keep going good and strong (cant wait to see more pics :hyper: )

Thanks amy :)

I suppose you got to expect to lose a few  ,but they seem content in supplying more eggs

Well yet again before the last batch of 14 have even hatched, they have laid more :),i retrieve 12,thinking one appeared dark, within a few minutes it hatched,so i guess its from the last lot  :good:

so i think at last count i had 31 fry varying from 1 hour to 3 weeks with 14 eggs due to hatch tonight....and now another 11 saved :)

Bless them

Congrats on the spawn! I think I am in the similar situation. I just got another 200+ eggs from 2 of the female. One started this morning about 8am and ended about 4pm, and the other one picked up a little before the first one ended and still laying eggs at the moment, 11pm. Definitely not every eggs are saved, but at least I got a good portion of it. Now, I separate all my fry with 1 week apart. I have found that younger ones in the same breeding box will not survive if the older fry are present.

Ps. Still waiting for my trilineatus to spawn.
