Some of you may know that I love, love frozen foods for the fish. I'm also in love with Hikari brand :p My lfs started stocking the Mega-Tropical this week and of course I grabbed one to try it out. As I was walking up to the register and talking with a friend, I was reading the ingredients. It has bloodworms, shrimp, krill, squid, fish, spirulina and...brace yourselves...bananas and carrots  Plus all of the other good stuff like wheat germ and algae extract. :p

I was anxious to try it on the bettas. I've fed my clown loaches bananas before but they really, really mess up the tank. The first to try it was my little orange female ,just because she's at my desk and always with me (no favoritism here  ) she devoured an entire cube by herself  Next I tried it on the giants...ehh, they weren't so crazy about it. The rest of the bettas enjoyed it very much and so did my cichlids in the bigger tanks. I give it an A+, most definately a keeper

Might try it Wuv.

A Little off topic. But Libby's Colors are showing and it looks like he will have impressive finnage. Lots of green and Blues, and his anal fins are Fuscia.
He is Also very Docile and will swim around with Fuscia.

Thanks for the info Wuv, I'll have to try it, sounds interesting, and if it's from Hikari then you know it's quality.
