Hiya, I ave only had my fish tank for about a month, it's the first one I have ever had, I bought some treatment for white spot, "WS3 White Spot Terminator", I was just wondering is it ok to still feed my fish whilst they are being treated?

Thanx in advance. :)

sorry I am just wondering, if I turned up the temperature on the heater, will it not kill the rest of the fish? The temperature is currently 25 degrees C

Most ich is actually a result of a tank that is too cold; other times is it just stress that makes them get it. Heating up your tank should not kill your fish as long as you do not raise it too high too fast. Heat helps ich cycle faster. The white spots you see on your fish are tiny cysts of ich that are just beneath the skin where they cannot be killed. After it "matures," however, it migrates from the fish into the gravel where it can be killed. Heat speeds up the time it takes for them leave the fish. Also remember to keep treating your tank for a little while after all the white spots are gone to ensure that there is no more ich living in the gravel, otherwise you may have recurring infections of it.

Do another full treatment. So for example, Protozin is another 1,2,3 and 6 day dose, Interpret #6 is another day 1 and day 4 dose. If you see no further symptoms after that, don't treat further but keep the temp up. Wait another week, then slowly drop the temp. If you don't see any more whitespot after 3 weeks, it's gone. This time.

duh-duh-DUUUUUUUH!

(edit: that wasn't sarcasm, that was evil genius noise, as in "But is he really dead?". Bah.)

Salt, Salt, Salt!!!
Its the way forward, cured my ICH a few times. Turn heat up and leave light off
Find those medicines stress the fish big time, kii most of them, then kill the plants!!
