Hi there....I just bought a 65 gal. tank and have so far added a filter heater 2 inches of gravel for my soon to be plants.

.....I rinsed off my gravel and placed it evenly in the tank ..i then filled the tank with water from the tap...and then treated it tetra aquasafe...Now the question...is it ok that i filled a new tank with tap water and then added the conditoner...or should i empty it and start from scratch again...i plan on cycleing it and already have some gravel/plants/filter from an established 10 gal.

So should i empty it or is ok to proceed with starting my fishless cycle...

thnx for the help ! :D

LMO is right, but since its already in your tank there's nothing to be gained by starting all over again.
I use a range of the Tetra products and find it quite good. Once your tank is established adding TetraBalance into your water on a monthly basis assists your tank in working at optimum performance.
