Treating ich.

The past few days, ive treated my tank several times for the parasite ich..... i lost one fish to it already, but ive done the treatment 3 days in a row as of now, with the heater set on around 82-83... ive noticed a drastic improvement in the appearence of the fish... they still have some white spots on them but not near as bad as it was. Should i continue to treat them with the ich medicine or should i just let it die off day by day Also do you think it would be a good idea to change the water completely in the aquarium

I never had ick in my tanks, but I remember reading that you will need to continue treatment as directed on the meds that you are using. I think the biggest mistake with treating ick is stopping treatment when you see improvement. Best of luck.
