Currently i am treating for Gill Flukes, i was wondering if i could also use Melafix. There is also salt in the tank. There are directions for when adding new fish, and seeing that the fish are fairly new i thouhgt i would add a bit in the hospital tank.....just for good measure. Is this a good idea!!!

I wouldn't you don't need to add melafix, salt is better with the parasites.

Thanks, how long is your course of treatment.

the name of the product is called "general cure." It cures Gill Flukes, hole in the head, fish lice, velvet, anchor. Pretty much any parasite diseases.
Each Capsule contains

125 mg - Metronidazole
13 mg - copper sulfate
8 mg - Trichlorfon

Great, that should kill them off.

I know you don't need this information, but I'll put it up for anyone else who does.

I don't recall seeing that brand here, (NY, US) but I have used a product called "Clout" with great success, back when I had goldfish. :D
