ok i started to wonder if a betta could be trained so i jus spent a good part of my saturday getting my betta to flare on comand for food(now he flares every time I walk by but it its my gf he doesnt) so i give him 1 betta boi gold pellet. an i also got him to jump out of the water acouple of times for food(not much more then a millimeter or so) an i was wondering if there was anything else i might be able to teach him while hes young(hes still kinda small)

yes that did help. ill get started on the hoop one tomarrow :D thx a bundle :D

I have a betta that will dangle himself from bloodworms. I just dip the end of a clump of worms into his water and he clings on and won't let go. I can lift him completely out of the water.

Not so much of a trick, but fun to watch :fun:

how cute! if any of you watch the plannets funniest animals i've seen a betta that was trained to jump out of its tank when its name was called and bite its owner's nose. it was so cute! :*)

lol now thats a trick! :D i got mine to jus a whole inch out of the water. new personal record. i think its good exercise too gets the tail strong :D but a whole inch! WOW! :D
