I was wondering if a toy car would be safe in a fish tank. This idea came to be in a dream. I won't get into that. :p I have a nice idea for it.

Might be metal somewhere on it that could rust.. would depend on the type of toy it is.. if there's any metal I don't know if I wuld do it.

Always a chance that an older toy could have lead paint. Certainly not what I would do.

no matter what car is is... could you not just dip it in car laccquer... 2pac being the best... as it is waterproof... and completely unreactive with water that i know of... thus sealing the toy car?

Be careful, the wheels will rust, I always used to play with toys cars in my sand pit with a seaside sort of part and some cars rusted whilst others just the wheels...

get the 99 cent plastic Shyt models, theyre usually sealed and tou should rip off the metal that keeps the tires on or get a stainless steel toy car(if they even make it, its a cool idea but all it will do it become a cool toilet peice for the fish to poop all over and bacteria to grow on, but then again fry can hide inside the car and stuff, u know like pretending to drive it

yeah each day i loose 56 fry due to drunken car accidents and a couple of them for fun :D , main cause of the accident..... they drowned
