Toxic Meds?

I have just dosed my tank with some Interpet 9 Anti internal bacteria and although my platies are fine with it my 2 Chinese algae eaters seem to be 'coughing' - their mouth extends and comes back up again. I'm not sure if this is because of the meds because they did this anyway, but they seem to be doing it more often now. I have a small tank i could put them in until i've medicated my other tank but the medicine said it wasn't toxic to any fish and I could be overreacting. Any advice?

Thanks, loaches seem to have calmed down and aren't dead in 24h so will probably be ok... phew

add an airstone to increase the oxygen levels as meds can reduce them and the fish may yawn
