I thought it was illegal to torture in the UK, Apparently not. I'm meant to be getting my acceptance or rejection notice on the UCAS website, 1 the website is not even working and 2 everyone else already has their.

It's actually killing me.

Vent ended.

he he is UCAS the people responsible for university places?

I remember that being torture as well

well good luck and I can say from experience that the choice of university and grade doesn;t make to much of a difference once your working as its the way you do the job and experience of work that counts then. The university is generally the key to open the doors

this man speaks the truth!

You think UCAS is torture, wait until you deal with the Student Loans Company....

Haha neither are that bad.

I applied and got an unconditional back in March or something but that's because I haven't been in education for 2 years and I made one cracking personal statement. The loan company though was kind of bad, letters taking over a month to arrive and over a month for them to notify that they had received further letters. However in the end I got what I wanted about 2 weeks ago. The lowest interest rate loan in your life...

Well I didn't get in to my first choice University as I was 1 grade off, Which kind of sucks. But I did get in to London City University which is not a bad University, but it means the past few days I've been frantically trying to get accomodation, central London is expensive huh?

I currently renting a flat with 3 double bedrooms on an gated estate in liverpool city centre for £750PCM. It's not so bad, quite a sought after place actually and the distance is not so bad, however I did instantly notice when looking the prices curve off very fast within a mile or two distance from the city centre. So possibly the same might work in London although it is much bigger!

That's one thing I was glad about, not having to book accommodation last minute, we had months to prepare for it. Kind of raises the question why they take so long to mark all the tests. Sure there is A LOT of exams to evaluate but the faster they do them the better it is for every single student and university out there.

Anyway, remember it's not really the university its what you make of it.

Good Luck, and be thankful you got into a university!

Yeah, this is what I was saying the other day, they do not leave you much time to get accomodation. I got accomodation for around £8,800 in the city center, basically along the thames which isn't too bad and managed to find a flat where I will be sharing with some first years so hopefully I'll make some friends easier :). This accomodation is brand new and looks extremely nice, and I got the fourth floor, so it's a lot more safe :).
