I've got a 5 year old tortoise that's been in a viv so far in my house. He's now old enough to start living outside and I was wondering what he might like in his run. I think the run will be 6ft x5ft (i want bigger but dad wont let me! haha, i'll keep tryin) I know they like sand and topsoil to did in, but is there anything else, and what sort of plants.

I know I might be going over the top with the run but I don't want him to get bored. He'll also have a house in there I made. He's a spur thighed tortoise btw :D

thanks for any help!

if hes a medit-spur thighed.
and you live in britain.
he isnt going to want to be living outside.
Maybe building an enclosure outside to house him/her
on the hottest days. But due to average british weather its
detrimental to the animals health usually for extended periods of time.
