Torch Coral

had a torch coral for about 3 weeks now
it has got 5 openings for the corals to come out
come downstairs this morning and notice that the 2 that are in the middle have died?
have read on the net that they dont travel that well
all my water stats are alll ok
tanks been set up for nearly a year aswell

Well, then my best advice is to keep caring for it properly and keep your fingers crossed

chances are that a hermit or something else in the tank decided that the shortest route to where they wanted to be was via the torch coral.

I have found that if a torch corals stony structure is broken where the corals polyps are usually means death to that colony.

the rest of the torch coral is doing really well,grow loads since ive had it
i must say my tank has been set up for 9 months now and things are really starting to settle in
everything is growing,fish are doing fine
its starting to look very impressive
i will try and post some pics on here soon to let you all see it
cause afterall,all of you have given me spot on advise when ive needed it

Sounds great. That right around 1 year mark is when a tank really starts looking nice huh
