Koda jr persuaded me that we needed an upside down cat.I gotta admit it's a cute and busy little critter

He's happily exploring the tank and getting to know the other fishies. His tankmates are platies, cories, and a girl betta.Any advice from other upside down enthusiasts would be welcome :D

Not positive on this but those are grouping fish. I wouldn't call them schoolers, as they don't school but I think they do better in numbers. Then again, there are several species of upside down cats.

Never really kept one myself but from what ive been told and seen they like to hide in bogwood or in dark spaces in groups. They look really cute when they get fat cos they get a huge dome shaped belly, :D

Thanks for the replies. He does seem to have taken a liking to the inside of the ship ornament.I can barely see the tip of a fin...upside down of course

If I end up moving by next summer, one of my first goals is to get bigger tanks.Right now we have several 10 gallons, one 5 gallon, and lots of individual betta homes.Eventually I can see having a bigger home for various cats n friends
