Top On Tank Do Anything To Amt. Of Light?

Hey,
I just got a glass top for my 20 gallon. I have two T5HO's on it. I'm running about 6 watts per gallon, so is the glass cover going to do anything to the amount of light my corals are getting? I dont have the light structure resting on the glass but on its legs. Thanks

The glass cover will dispurse some light, but not a great deal untill it starts to get covered in algea. Keep it clean and you hopefull won't notice anything different with the corals

Yup, you HAVE TO keep it clean. If it starts getting dirty, full of algae, and/or salt creep, then it'll really cutoff your light
