Does anyone have any top-dwelling fish in their tank, other than harlequin rasboras (cant get them)? I need some topdwelling fish for my tank, and have had alot of trouble finding some nice looking top dwellers! does anyone know of any??

by the way, im looking for tropical community fish, that will work well with my 4 silver dollars, 3 swordtails, and 5 corys!

THANKS! :D

Tank Levels:

pH- 7.0
Ammonia- 0
Nitrite- 0
Nitrate- 20

Ooooo...hatchetfish! Very different...the marbled ones are very pretty.

great! keep listing them guys, i want as many choices as possible! thanks!

i dunno about the hatchetfish though. they arent very good-looking. and they look to much like my silver dollars. i want some variety

Yeah but African Butterflies are murder (literally) on anything that gets too close to their territory which is the surface. If it's small enough, they'll just eat it.

Pfft, Hatchetfish are awesome! I have some in my tank. You just have to watch for them jumping out

Stupid guppies, dunno if you fish would eat them, maybe if your lucky... Okay, done being evil to guppies...evil vile little thingies, we's don't like filthy guppies, do we precious?

Ifallow what bones say african butterfly fish they r so pretty and the look cool to

Yeah. Go for the butterflys!

There gonna be in my 40 gal post cycle.
They will get rid of all the fish u have under 4 inches! Cant say fairer than that!

no idea on the compatability but I,ve got white cloud mountain minnows mooching around the top of my tank.

They dont do much, but they are pretty and peaceful and nice.

They'll be fine in a 7.0 pH and wouldn't eat bottom dwelling Cories normally though Cories do come to the surface to gulp air sometimes so they might go at one, not really sure.
