Right

i had 5 x Asian aros 2 x chili red and 3 x blue base xbacks

1 x chili red and 1 x xback had taken over the whole 7 foot tank

they were swimming around 6 foot of the tank not letting the other 3 aros leave the 1 foot of tank taking it in turns to keep them pinned in a corner

it was unfair on the 3 aros

so i sold on the 3 that were getting beat up yesterday

i know its still early days but its been 24 hours now and the 2 aros have not been fighting

they are not swimming side by side yet like other aro pairs i have seen but they are swimming together with the red at the top of the tank and the xback in the middle

the group of aros used to fight like crazy the more lights you put on
so yesterday i was doing some tests and put all the lights on the tank and no fights with the 2

i know its still early but if they are still fine after a week its could be good

i have been very luck with the 2 aros as they were the best 2 of the group and even better i get to keep 1 x xback and 1 x red which is great as i love both types of aro

i dont even mind if they dont breed its just the fact that i can keep a pair in one tank im happy about

Sounds promising, hopefully you'll have a pair.

Any chance of pictures? Seems so long since I seen any from you.

everyone hear was saying oooooo you tank is to over stocked with all them aros

well i now have a pair which was the whole point in all them aros you need to pack them in then a pair will form

Stunning tank, would be excellent if they are a pair and breed.

First thing that stood out in the video was that huge dat :p

Still thats not the important thing but would be good to have :)

i did read that but thought it was green arowana which are essayer to breed than red/cross back
arowana have been bred in Europe before so its yet another mistake by PFK

they have never been bred by a hobbits out side a farm or zoo in the UK or Europe (i think )

i don't think they will breed for a long time and don't care to much if they don't its just great to get what i set out to do get a pair in the same tank which was my main goal with 11 then 9 then 7 then 5 now 2 its been a long hard trip with lots of fights but i got their in the end
