Tokis plec ID pics included

Well 2days ago i took my first trip down to WaterMart and found this little guy in a tank full of tiger barbs or somthing and 2 other dead plecs and so i bought him as i felt i could give him a good home .
He's VERY shy and a bit thin and these were the best pics i could get of him- he's about 3inchs and has a pure bright orange belly and i've seen him eat a small algae wafer so far but i would like to know more about him;

Anyone know what he could be ?

Your one looks just like mine and is probably the same plec- is there a more common name for them and what are their needs? What is a resonable price for one cos i had to pay a fair price for mine?

They are commanly known as "Para pleco"'s, still though what is a fair price for one as he is the most i have ever spent on a single fish?

go on how much was he - I was expecting you to say he was really cheap as they didnt know what he was

Ours is called Rambo - that piccy was just after we got him - he's bigger now - and a lot more colourful. I'll try and get a few better pics.

I payed £19's for him which is the very most i have ever spent on a fish and is alot for me, so i was just wondering wether i paid too much for him ?
