I heard that a blue gourami and a beta wont go together. I have had them for 2 weeks and nothing yet. Should I expect anything?

You can probably expect some dischord, possibly fighting. I know several members keep them together with no problems that I hear of. I personally would not recommend it and I advise that you have a place to move the betta , just in case. Keep your eyes peeled for ripped finnage and watch them closely. When and if you see your betta develop a newfound interest in the gourami....take him out. They stalk and learn a fishes habits and moves before they begin pestering ;)

By the way....MrKrabs is my favorite! "Argggh, I got ten reasons not to let go of this dime, boy!"

No your betta & gourmi can not live together :)
It's to bad I really want some kissers - but just no room around here :D

Bettas can spawn with most anabatoids like paradise fish & such. Cross-breeds like that are something you really want to avoid until you REALLY know what you are doing (like you run a city-aquarium kinda know what your doing)

Nes.
