This is my tank, is it suitable to breed pygmys? if so how do i go about it?

How big is it hon? How long set up and are you going to move the tetras? As these will pick at the extremely small eggs. If the filter and tank is mature and established enough and at least 5 gallons shouldnt see why not. A good factor to add would be a clump of java moss or floating plant like foxtail as they may wish a bit more to lay their eggs on. generally they will lay eggs where oxygen and flow are the best. Pygmies can jsut start to breed once they are happy, mine never really responded to triggers and just went about it pretty much every other day.

My pygmy tank is 30l planted,i did have 4 guppy juvi's in there but have now taken them out,has they eat everything in sight(so eggs wouldn't have been safe)
If you intend to breed pygmys i wouldn't have anything else in there that might eat the eggs, has they're are so tiny!- although i did add 2 young cory trilineatus juvi's has they're still very small.

What size is your tank?
