how about this for my 50g eventually

1 kissing gourami
1 female platty
1 male platty
6 golden barbs
1 discus
3 silver dollars
1 leopard plec
1 bristlenose plec
4 cory's
1 golden nugget plec
3 rainbow fish

what should i leave out or add, what is not good. i know mast of you will complain about the discus

u need more female platties....get 4 silver dollars incase they pair off......get another kissing gourami and like u said dont bother with a discus......well u could......it just might not be a good idea

make it easy on yourself, try to get fish that prefer your local water prarmeters.
then look at what you have on your wish list and stock carefully.
