i just found out last night the reason possibly for my constant ph of 7.8 i that the pro reef salt has low clacium, alkalinity and ph as it is meant for use with calcium reactors

luckily i have bought the plain old TMC sea salt now so i should get my ph up with a fair ammount of water changes. The thing is is the salt is more expensive than others and you end up getting stuff that you 'need' not being included

so all others out there take note that TMC PRO reef aslt is for use with calcium reactors :good:

the best selling salt, where I work, is Reef crystals.
many of my salty customers would not use anything else after trying it.

In fact it is what we use ourselfs for our marine tanks.

I used Reef Crystals but ran out couldn't find anymore, bought Tropic Marin in the end and am happy with it.

Tbh the best 3 salts are reef crystals and instant ocean and Kent marine, i now use instant ocean cos i can get it from my works supplier. But TMC one is good but those are better. If you go PFK site they have a review on them all but u have to sign up.
