Hey all so I ended up buying a tire track eel not sure which variety it is. But I was wondering do you think he will be fine in a 120 gallon long for life with 3 blood parrots and an angelfish and 2 bristlenose plecos for life?

These are big fish when they grow up, what are the dimensions of your tank? If it is less than six feet in length, then it will need a bigger tank.

I also have a 135 that’s 6 foot but there’s a full grown Oscar and Jack Dempsey in it when the tire track gets some good size like 14 inches can I move him over to the 135?

That’s fair haha just was curious if he would be alright for life in the tank he is in now .

That’s insane yah unfortunately I don’t have that wish I did 😂 who knows maybe he will be alright for a year or 2 until I can upgrade to a 220 that’s the future plan anyways is a 220

The rest of that story is that he had a swimming pool in the middle of the garage with a Giant Gourami in it. One day his wife made a stand, " It is me or your fish" he said goodbye Honey.

I mean as far the eel along with tank mates then? According to that article they should be pretty fine in my tank.

You can see from my avatar that apart from being a fish-keeper, I also do a bit of fishing too.
Eels are absolutely lovely. You chop the head off, peel the skin off like you would a, ahem ... condom, chop them into two inch pieces and fry them in butter. Souse them with vinegar on the plate. Absolutely beyond comparison. Not even fresh cod tastes as nice.
Not that I recommend you do that with the tyretrack.

Yah I’m a fisherman to. But that really wasn’t that funny or entertaining to read tbh with you. Like that’s cool you want to eat eels but yah I would prefer to not kill the fish in my tank who doesn’t have a chance 👌 I would rather give him a good home to live in hes pretty awesome to watch.

Ah, I see. No silliness intended and certainly no meaing for you to eat your eel. The auto-complete put in Now.... instead of Not. "Now" doesn't give the sentence any sense.
