Tire Tack Eel

I've just recently bought a tire track eel, and I've been doing lots of research... I'm curious to know however, what's the growth rate of a tire track eel? Is it the same as most eels? like 1" every month or 2?

i have had mine for a few months, and i didnt think it had grown. Went to the fish shop and they had some there, about half the size of mine you dont realise they are growing.

what do you guys feed you eels ?

in general MOST (not all) eels eat bloodworms, as well as a varied diet of whitebait/lance fish etc.

i dont feel like mines gotten any bigger either but when i went 2 were i got it it seemed twice as big 2 but i've only had it since july.

i feed mine bloodworms, meal worms, and feeder guppies. i've heard they love earthworms but i've never tried them before

ringham- this is a little off topic but i have always wondered if that is a gold saum underneath your fire eel in your sig? it looks really nice
