Tips On Before Buying The Aquarium

Hello. I'm 12 and I would really like to take up the hobby of keeping a tropical aquarium. Do you have any tips on what to do before buying the aquarium? I have already read sites, forums and have watched the Tetra tutorial on YouTube many times.

Good advice about getting as big a tank as you can afford. It's so much easier to maintain a bigger tank than a small one.

But, don't tell your friends that. Let them marvel at your skills with a HUGE tank and be "big man on campus" for as long as you can.



Other than that, the only piece of advice I can give you is to remain patient during the whole process. There is a LOT to learn. Take your time, and do your homework.
