Ok here is a few tips for all u gerbil owners.
1. u should put shreds of cloth, toilet paper, tissue paper, ect. in the gerbils cage they love to use it for bedding
2. u do not haft to give ur gerbil water, this may sound radicul but all u haft to give them is lettuce or other juicy treats.
3. u may have heard that sun flower seeds make them fat. that is crud, it does not make em fat.
4. do not hand feed ur gerbil, it will start to bit ur fingers if u try to hold or touch him/her.
5. do not think that u can put up a little ring around ur gerbil so u can play with it. gerbils can jump about 1 foot, sometimes even more.
6. u can make ur gerbils bedding last longer bby turning it over, it doesnt smell, or bring bugs.
7. be sure to put plenty of paper towel tubs in its cage, ur gerbil will have tons of fun with them and when its done it has a place to were down its teeth.
8. u may have heard u cant put plastic objects in there cage cause the plastic will hurt there tummy, that is not true, and when gerbils chew on an object they do not eat it!
9. wire objects that r not sharp, make a great chew toy for ur gerbil.
10. spend plenty of time playing with ur gerbil, this will make him happier and it will not become distructive( such as chewing on every singe thing) i have made the mistake and now im paying for it.
11. u may have heard that u should not give them obects with ink in it, such as newspaper, or tissue boxes, my gerbil has always chewed on these objects and he is very healthy.
12. exercise gerbil alot or it will become lazzy and sleep all day.
13. ur gerbils have babies u must seperat them when they get older or they will kill each other.
14. any bedding is ok for a gerbil.

those r the tips i have. i might have forgoten some but if i remember them ill put the in later :D hope these help all u gerbil owners. ;)

i think he means that you put a lot of things like 'haft' instead of 'have' and lots of abbreviations (he's just being picky, if that is the case  ).

i have had 2 hamsters in the past, and i found this sheet of rules i had written when i was 8 and getting my first one. some of the rules were:
1. do not poke hamster
2. do not annoy hamster
3. do not shout at hamster
4. do not kiss hamster :*
i expect these rules apply for gerbils, so perhaps you want to add them to your list!! :p

that would be a good list of advice for a person who wants a gerbil or hamster :)
