I have just fed my tank an noticed it was full of tiny white worm lookin things. Wriggling about in their 100s. They are about 5mm long and 1mm thick. My bala is happily gobbling them up I think the Cory's too.

Has anybody came across this b4, should I be worried about the bala and Cory's?

Any help would be great folks, thanks

Also will not cause a problem. Fish like them and that is okay. Planaria are common in new set-ups.

Googled it, wot I found was an article saying in small amounts can be dealt with with a parasitic med. But mine aren't in a small amount. They advise a full strip dwn of everything, tank, filter, decor and substrate!.

I simply do not have the room for rehoming while I do this or the time for it!
Is their anything else?

Please see my posting above. Don't strip down your tank. Follow good maintenance practices and the worms will go away.

Checked just b4 I left for wrk they seem to either have been eaten it are in the sand. It's been st up for 2 yrs now and I have never had them in any tank. Glad to hear I don't have to strip everything, or it would have been a complete nightmare. Thanx folks
