Heyy
So I have tank which used to be home to some snails and a betta. After they passed I decided to see what would happen if I just “let the tank go” and “do it’s thing”.

So over the past month I haven’t done anything with the tank. No water changes, water testing, NOTHING. The lights have been on 12h off 12h on.

Obviously the first thing I noticed was heaps of algae then lot of tiny little creatures. Those creatures are not so tiny any more.

I’ve identified some detritus worms, limpets, copepods, and snails (my passed snails must of left some eggs) but I can’t seem to work out what these things are (video: )

Let me know what you think!

Wow. You have a feast sitting waiting for the diners.

Oh bother! I can not think of any insect that I hate more then those tiny vampires.
