Hi

Just bought some live plants, and now I spotted a snail (maybe 4-6mm long) claeaning my tank.

I can also make out what looks like 3-4 baby snails (about 1-2mm) on the plant leaves.

Should i be worried? Will my fish dispose of them?

if i was you id move them into a jar or something otherwise they WILL multiple and soon youll be full of thousands of snails

I'm in the middle of a bit of a snail crisis, which started with "just" a couple of wee snails that came in on plants. I've just got a yoyo loach to try and see if he can chomp them up the natural way. :)

You could put a piece of lettuce leave it overnight and by morning most of them should be on it and you can dispose of it.

Hi..I have the same problem in my 10 gallon. Saw one..thought it was cool..then 3..then four....don't know where they came from...probably hitchhiked on a plant I bought. I've been putting spinach leaves in the tank with a vegetable clip so that the leaf touches on the substrate (bottom). I"m pulling out about 5-10 snails a day. I agree with Fiori. Try a loach. Copper additives get them but I believe that copper is VERY toxic to fish even if the bottle says it is not. Anyone have success with copper? SH
