I think it is time to move my Senegal bichir
seeing as he has just caught a 3" Danio feegradei

that picture is a great example of how predator fish will sometimes bite off more than they can really chew. we oughta pin it somewhere with that picture of Sir Minion's rummynose.

have you got somewhere to move him to?

ATM I don't have anywhere to move him
but next week I'm taking my P.weeksi to CFC and he can then go into the 62G
with the P.p.palmas, eventually he'll end up in the 100g
but only when he is too big for the orante to eat, which currently is not the case.

I always remember when my Ornate Bichir ate my Arowana and it was the same size as it! Expensive meal - greedy monster! We live and learn, lol

Convict cichlid . He was just holding onto it for a while, let it go later and it lived. Later died for unknown reasons a couple months later.
