Time To Add?

I got my CUC on about the 15th or so of this month. It consists of 7-9 hermits, a turbo snail, an olive snail and 2 cerith snails.

My levels today are as follows:
ammo 0
nitrites 0
nitrates 8 (it's darker than 5, not as dark as 10)
sg 1.025
temp 78

Am I ready for livestock now?

If so, should I do a 4-5g water change/vac, then add a fish or 2? Or an even bigger water change? (It's a 20-g.)
With the stocking I want I was told to get the firefish first, but the lfs is out right now and don't know when they'll get one. So could I put something else in and just wait on the firefish?
(The stocking will be: 1 clown fish, 1 firefish, 1 blenny, possibly a fairy wrasse or some other smaller fish; then a brittle starfish and possibly an urchin in a few months.)

Should be absolutely fine. Your nitrate levels are lower than mine lol.

uhh, well that might be a bit too much for a tank of that size, maybe just stick to one clown, one firefish, and one blenny and call it a day. I cant comment on the starfish/urchin though.

Is this a standard 20, 20high or 20long aquarium?

It's a 20 high, I think. (It was actually bought second hand, and that's what I was told.) I've been told that I could possibly have those 4, but I am planning on stocking just the first 3 and then see how it goes a while before I add anything else, including the inverts.

I got a yellow watchman blenny today! He seems to be settling in ok. He's swam around the tank and perched on different rocks. He's even sat right at the glass and stared at me and my son (who was a half inch from the glass at most) and never seemed scared of us. The lfs threw a couple of trochus (sp?) snails in, too, and a tiny white starfish hitched along! Of course as soon as I released them the starfish was no where to be found. I'm hoping it just went in the substrate. I think I got a decent price on him, as most of the others salt fish were $20 or more. I paid $6 for him.
In a week or so I am thinking of adding a firefish and then the clown a week or so after that. Is that the best way to do it?
Or do you recommend a different fish?
