Hi there. Any suggestions as to what should next be added to my tank? My clowns are very happy and I will be getting them an anemone on saturday. I saw a lovely yellow coloured tang in my lfs. How would that do in the tank? Are there any good cleaner fish that I could get. I'm getting a cleaner shrimp but want a fish as well. Please help thanks :p

I'd not try to sqeeze a tang of any kind into a 27G. That would probably not work and even if it did would be cruel. Stick with smaller fish. A Royal Gramma or Bicolor Pseudochromis would be pretty and work ok.

For cleaners a Cleaner Goby would be good.

tangs are good beginner fish. Very playful but do hide sometimes too. They will pick at your rock and sides of your glass for alege. Becareful though, they tend to get a little territorial. I have had mine in the 35-36gal for a while now... and seems very healthy and i clown and a puffer. So if you were to do tang, clown, cleaner shrimp... your tank shouldn't be too overcrowded.

P.S. powder blue tangs are much harder to raise than yellow tangs

my mother has a blue tang and a clown fish in her 29 gallon for over a year now. The tang is growing but still has plenty of room.
