Time Lapse - shrimp/snail scavengers

These are short time lapse videos of my shrimp/snails scavenging on the carcasses of a neon tetra and a loach. If that sort of natural process bothers you, please do not watch these short clips. To me, this sort of thing is fascinating.

Neither one of these videos take you through the process to completion, but the neon was completely gone in 12 hours. The loach was removed after 9 hours in the aquarium.

I always thought the process was faster than that. Looks like they would take a really long time to really make the whole carcass disappear.
