what would the minimum size scahol be for each and are they conpatable??? i have a 25 gl tnak waiting for them towards the end of thei year but want to have it planned out a bit and get a rough idea of cost.

also they would be only non bottom dwelling fish, so what would eb the mximum size for each schaol you woukld suggets as well i the 25 gl.

the absolute min for TB's is 6, but IME the more is really much better.
as for harliquin rasboras a group of 5 will be ok
 
Its a 25g so id stick with 6 TB's and maybe 8-10 harliquins. Plant it up real nice, and get some other bottum dwellers and you well on your way to a beaut tank! :)

ahh, my fault

but there is a very select few SEA cat fish. and if there is one, i think it gets large

keeping on the theme go for botias as bottom dwellers.
 
I'd agree with Wolf, I have Botia Dario (Bengal Loaches) 3 of them in a 10 Gallon (UK) they are active and love to get into the substrate and hunt for food.

They stay fairly small ie 2-2.5", love snails (which is why they are in my tank) they show no aggression to any of my fish, including the corys, who they share the bottom with.

They like to be in their group and they like places to hide, so give em plently of cover.

And to keep inline with your regional specifications, they originate from Bangladesh :thumbs: .

IAE, SAE, CAE or flying foxes will do the job and are all from the far east. :thumbs:
