Just finished my fishless cycle! Today added 10 tiger barb and 5 zbra danios!

I know I over did it, but so far its going well. I want a tank of small fish. Danios, barbs and tetras.

Who will be good contribution to my tank? :D :D :D

I'm cycling with Danios and hope to add Tigers later on as well. I'm planning on keeping a tank of small schoolers. From what i've learned from this site i believe most Tetras would do well in your tank, barring Neons and Cardinals for now. Rasboras as well, along with Cories should do fine.

Stay away from slow fish and flowing fins and you should be fine. Just as long as the barbs stay busy...

Take a look at my sig.

i know I shouldn't have the angels in there (the tigers are supposed to nip them and they in turn will snack on the cardinals when they get bigger), but all is well in my tank. :D :D :D

it can work.............but I wouldn't put in the angels as you have a choice.

Speedy fish are great :S Green tigers and stripey tigers swim together giving a bigger group with more characters, cardinals do shoal quite a bit and give really great colour (but later on additions), tetras are good but take your time and pick some interesting ones..........it gets far too tempting in those fish shops :D :D :D :D

as said - stay away from any pretty flowing fins - too hard for naughty tigers to resist & you should be fine. we have corys, yoyos, neons, cardinals, zebra + leopard danios ,red eye tetras & shrimps & have never had a prob with our tigers harrassing anything. weve had them for about a year now. :D :D

oh we'd LOVE your naughty barbs! dont think theyd survive the usa-uk post service though, esp this end royal mail is crap!!!. shame :)

I've never shipped fish before. No idea how to do it properly. That's why i'd prefer local pickup

Throw a red tailed black shark in there. It is awesome to see him want to chase a barb or danio, only when he starts to chase, they are already gone. :flex:

You could add some bottom-dwellers next, seeing as all the rest of your fish are middle swimmers - a shoal of cories or a group of loaches would go well :D :D .
