Tiger Barbs And ...

Just got 6 red eye tetras and put them in my 20g with cory. They just don't seem happy in there. Very skittish. Would they get on with the 9 tiger barbs in the 29g?

I'm really trying to figure out the best place for these tetras, and the best thing for the tiger barbs.

I could get a bunch more tiger barbs and just make the 29g a tiger barb-only tank. Aside from the BN plec in there.

I could move the red eye tetras to the 55g. Or not.

I just don't know.

I do understand that several of my rescued fish need bigger numbers. But until I get some opinions about who gets along best with whom, I'm hesitant to get anything else!

They are skittish fish, let them settle in for a month then revisit.

My Red Eye Tetra's are superb. I would love to have a massive shoal of about 20 to see how they behave.

The problem you have with the 55 is that you already have a few different varieties of Tetra's so once they're upped like you mentioned you may find it a little too busy.
