Tiger Barbs and Dwarf Gouramis

hunting for possible new residents for a 20 gallon tank. really like tiger barbs and dwarf gouramis. would a school of say 6 tigers bother a single dwarf gourami much? or would thy work okay togther?

we had our 4 Green Tiger Barbs in with our Powder Blue Dwarf Gourami (in our 20 gallon) & they got on well together at first but after the barbs got bigger they started to nip at her fins & nibble her feelers off , we've moved the Gourami into a bigger tank now

I wouldn't get tiger barbs. Like the budmaster said they will nip everything. People will tell you they are OK in a school of 6 but I don't buy it. I had six and they nipped everything. They especially like things with long fins or in the case of the gourami those long feeler things.
