tiger barb

a few days ago, i was looking in my 10g. tank and i couldn't find my second tiger barb. i just guess it was hiding since it usually swims around the back of the tank. But today i thoroughly checked the tank, and, no second tiger barb!! It just disappeared! I mean, how does an 1 1/2" fish just disappear in a 10g. tank? There was never any aggression between fish or anything.

Have you checked the filter, or the other fish have eaten him, sorry.

i doubt those were the causes because i checked the filter and i didn't find any remnants of his body parts .....

Has he jumped out of the tank and you haven't noticed, take a look round the tank and down the back.

nope, no fish jumped out....its so weird

Sounds like you need to apply Calculatus eliminatus ... in other words "Find out where it's NOT"

It can't just vanish !!!

thats exactly what i thought! but i really have looked everywhere.....

if my fish was eaten though -which i dont think is the case- its been too long of a time to notice what went wrong. everything seems perfectly normal with the rest of the tank fish.

If you have any pets and the fish jumped out of the tank the dog or cat could of eaten it.
