Tiger Barb Query

I have 6 green tiger barbs in my tank, and about 3/4 of them have a white ovipositor sticking out which is between the tail fin and anal fin..
they have had them for about a month now..also they look quite fat round the belly area..
whats wrong with them?

They are getting full of eggs! There might be some breeding in your tank soon.

I have one regular tiger barb with the same look...i hope she drops the eggs soon! good luck with yours

Im no expert but her 'stomach' is still quite 'circular' so i would say about a week...look for when it squares off a bit..
