i noticed that 2 of my tiger barbs have kinda paired off. one is a female albinobarb an the other is a male tigerbarb. an she has gotten rather ..."plump" at to what she use to be. should i let them have a ten gal to them selves for a day or 2 to spawn or should i not let Taco an Capri get their groove on...would the fry look weird cuz one is albino an the other is tiger?

If you have the time, patience, and equipment (i.e. tank, spawning mop or similar material, sponge filter, etc.) then go for it.

Tiger barbs were the first fish I bred, I made my mistakes, but the fifteen survivors are almost as big as their parents now.

Also make sure you have a home for the kids when they grow up - either something you have or a LFS that will buy/take them.

no they wouldn't. you see, when the fish spawn, all the genes are released. and some of them get the albino gene, while others don't. trust me, they wouldn't come out half normal and half albino.

ok good. i dont really wanna start some new weird thing that ppl collect an act like its the biggest thing in the world
