Hello - well my plants are growing faster than i expected lol. I've read a few topics about trimming, but i want some advice for MY plants - not just plants in general incase i cause any damage.

I've put a pic at the bottom (when they first went in - but you can see which they are)

My question is - can i trim the leaves on the one on the far left (the tips are slightly brown - they were like this when i bought it) and how do i cut them if i can?

The one at the back is almost near the top of the tank now - do i just trim this to size, or is there a place i need to cut? (also will this re root itself off the cut offs?)

The one on the rights fine at the moment - as it bushing out - not up :p

Cheers for any advice

The one on the far right looks like an Amazon sword, do not trim this. Let it establish itself and it may grow well. I normally add Echinodorus species when the tank is well matured, they prefer a deep nutritiuos substrate. Only remove completely dead leaves.

The other plant I would trim halfway and then plant the cuttings again, this way it will appear more bushy.

The tank should look great when it grows in. I like the blue background.

Thanks! Yeah i cant wait untill its matured a bit. I may pick up a couple more of the plant at the rear to fill it out a bit more. (and get the names this time lol)

Cheers i'll take a look at that site :)

One more question - what are the bits dangling off this plant?

At first i thought it may be wroots - so ive removed the pot & planted it straight in the gravel
