Wow, been so long since I've been in here.
Last week I set up three of my younger boys for spawning. Two met their ladies on the Sunday (13th) and the third on Monday.
First pair were off within 24 hours and done quickly too. Second pair did nothing, third pair had spawned by Wednesday. Second pair finally got around to it after 5 days together. Managed to grab some vid footage of all three pairs. Not briliiant quality so I apologise in advance. First two that spawned have free swimming fry now. Third has danglies still but they'll be free swimming by morning. They also took the longest to hatch out of the three pairs.
Okies. First vid is of A male Black&White CT marble male and MG CT female. She's spawned twice in the past, it's his first time.

The second pair to spawn were my Rosetail Pink/white BF male and a blue HM female (She was born and raised here).

Third pair, who took their time, are a blue HM male (brother to the blue HM F in the last vid) and dark blue RT female (also born here).

Interestingly all the boys built their nests open to the tank surface, rather then under their leaves or plants. They held together well for them all. All spawned in the Daddies home tank. When the time comes I'll be moving the babes and not the Dad. I've found this causes far less stress in the male and far less aggression towards the young. The blue HM male - and his sister - lived with their Dad for well over a month before moving out. He now lives next door to his aging Daddy.
